Scholarship Opportunity for MHS Class
of 2025
Madison valued her friendships and lived by the motto, “In a world where you can be anything, BE KIND.” Please tell us in 650 words or less how friendships and kindness have impacted you. Tell us how you can continue the legacy of Madison’s motto. The essay should explain how kindness comes into play in your daily life, a friendship or life change you have seen as a result of kindness, or how someone’s kindness towards you, maybe changed life for you.

Be Kind Like Madison, just want to THANK YOU! Thank you for celebrating Madison’s 18th birthday during the 12 Days of Madison. We are excited to announce that we raised approximately $4,000 and will use these funds to provide support for local families fighting cancer and give out the first annual Madison J. Smallwood Foundation Scholarship. We also made our first donation to help a local family in January.
